My favorite part of my job is bragging on our agents and our brokerage. Lucky for me, there is a lot of extremely good news to celebrate, all of a sudden:
Our very own Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty has just landed in the top 10 percent of brokerages nationwide that were ranked by RealTrends Verified, a prestigious honor in our business. We earned the No. 117 spot of the list’s 1,295 brokerages, each having closed at least 500 transaction sides or $350 million in sales in 2024. (For the record, RealTrends puts us at 2,089 sides and $2.28 billion.)
The news gets sweeter: Anywhere, the parent company of Sotheby’s International Realty, landed the No. 2 spot in the entire country on the same ranking, with total sales of $183.8 billion. That’s a lot of happy new homes around the world, including North Texas. On a separate list, by respected industry news source RISMedia, which ranks the top 1,000 brokerages in the country, Anywhere Advisors also earned the No. 2 spot.
Our third burst of celebrating comes via T3 Sixty, a well-known management consultancy for residential brokerages. Our brokerage is part of the luxury portfolio of Peerage Realty Partners, which just ascended to the No. 10 spot on T3 Sixty’s Mega 1000 list. Also of note? T3 Sixty reports that “Sotheby’s International Realty posted the strongest year-over-year sales growth among major franchises.”
Now you see why I’m suddenly strutting around our office? But the credit goes to every agent, staffer and client who works for us and with us. Thank you. You did this. I’m just the guy who gets to brag about it — happily.
