FROM THE PRESIDENT'S P.O.V.
I saw lots of dropped jaws.
I have just come from the preview party for one of the most spectacular residences in Dallas. It floats 26 stories above the Arts District downtown. It is also one of the most relaxing yet inspiring spaces in which you could live.
I don’t say that lightly. Part of the magic of the Gallery Penthouse at HALL Arts Residences is its mix of intimate and grand spaces. That awareness isn’t just created by walls or no walls: Even the ceilings come into play, hovering lower in some spaces, such as the dining room, and set higher in others, such as the living room. It’s like moving about in a three-dimensional composition arranged by the great artist Piet Mondrian.
And then there are the views. Every outer wall is sheer glass, and every vista reaches beyond the horizons. And yet, it’s a uniquely comfortable home, for being more than 7,600 square feet. Bedrooms and baths feel enveloping. You feel protected in many public spaces, too. It’s uncanny, given the thrilling scale of the place. Kudos to Abeyta Architecture Studio in Dallas and interior designer Neal Thomas in New York, who staged the furnishings and the contemporary art. They have created a home loaded with luxuries — 12-foot pocket doors, a monumental living-room fireplace, a wine cellar, a library — and yet the overall feeling is like being inside a very soothing art gallery.
Now you know why it’s called the Gallery Penthouse. Come see 1747 Leonard Street, Unit 2601, at briggsfreeman.com and hallartsresidences.com. We are proud to be the exclusive brokerage for every new home at HALL Arts Residences, represented by our Cindi Caudle and Kyle Richards. This one is beyond special — and those views alone may be worth the $17,500,000.
