FROM THE PRESIDENT'S P.O.V.
Hooray for Parker County?
I’ll explain. When Hollywood has attempted to capture the tales of the American West — the epic dramas of cowboys, Native Americans and the first railroads, farms and ranches — “that story is, in fact, the history of Parker County,” says the website for the county’s chamber of commerce.
We love Parker County — so much so that we just opened a new office there. Immediately west of Tarrant County, Parker County is home to about 170,000 passionate citizens and counting. There has been explosive growth there, with more employers moving their businesses west and a hot market for real estate and retail. Cities and school districts have been racing to build facilities and infrastructure. Homes and developments are popping up. The local economy is thriving. (But, FYI, like many booming Texas regions, Parker County retains its rich history and unique charms. One example? Its fame as the peach capital of Texas.)
In our own tradition of blazing trails in luxury real estate, we saw an opportunity there. Our new office is at 601 Willow Crossing E in Willow Park, just 20 minutes west of our Fort Worth office and an hour west of our Dallas flagship. In fact, we named it Fort Worth West, to indicate its proximity to that great Texas city. Our new office is home to the area’s finest established real estate advisors — individuals and teams who represent the world-class properties of Weatherford, Willow Park, Aledo, Hudson Oaks and more, plus westernmost Tarrant County and the Palo Pinto County communities surrounding Possum Kingdom Lake.
Come see what’s happening in Parker County. It’s a future frontier all over again, in a whole new way. And I know just the people who can make it your home.
