Reese Witherspoon knows a thing or two about entrepreneurship.
And she knows how to tell a great story. That’s why she’s the keynote speaker at a little gathering we call the Global Networking Event, hosted every couple of years by Sotheby’s International Realty.
I’m teasing about little. As you read this, thousands of the world’s best real estate advisors — including many from our brokerage — are winging their way to legendary Nashville, Tennessee, home to Ms. Witherspoon and the site for this year’s multiday extravaganza of seminars, speakers, parties and a lot of learning. It kicks off Sunday.
Every GNE is utterly inspiring. It’s the chance for our advisors to build even more connections and fuel even more referrals, all in the name of bringing even more value to their clients. I’m going, too, as are several of our brokerage’s leaders. This year, the theme is Composing the Future Together — learning from one another and tapping into knowledge from inside and outside real estate. Among wisdom from other stellar speakers, we’ll be treated to thoughts and challenges from Philip White, the president and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty [pictured at top], Charles F. Stewart, the president and CEO of the Sotheby’s auction house, and Sol Rashidi, the expert on data, analytics and AI who holds eight patents and is a bestselling author.
