FROM THE PRESIDENT'S P.O.V.
As listings go, our beautiful homes and big ranches get all the attention.
And rightly so. But, every day, alongside our advisors who represent those ranches and residences, there is a small and mighty group of experts who deal in commercial, industrial, and development properties. They are called, simply, the Commercial Division, and they offer some eyebrow-raising stuff, in addition to what you already think of as commercial properties.
At this moment, they have a 1920s former foundry near downtown Dallas that has been converted to a live-work-office-warehouse situation. (It would make a heck of a place to show off a collection of cars.)
They’re offering more than 110 prime acres in booming Jarrell, Texas, less than an hour from Austin, that is ideal for single-family or multifamily homes. It is advantageously positioned in an area of new schools, new homes and active development.
In Princeton, an hour northeast of Dallas, they have a three-building complex complete with a hangar and helipad that was once a factory for military-helicopter machine guns. The buildings would make a perfect manufactory, showroom, and offices for a modern-day company.
All of our commercial offerings have a story, and our specialized team has sold everything from land along the Chisholm Trail to a building where baseball mounds are now made. “We do things all over Texas,” says division director Scott Bumpas, who says the Commercial Division’s clients benefit from the reach and reputation of the Sotheby’s International Realty network, just as our residential clients do. But, they don’t take every project, Bumpas says. “We keep it to the things that match our expertise.”
Take it from me, that is some world-class, white-glove expertise.
Come see all their opportunities, at briggsfreeman.com/commercial.
