FROM THE PRESIDENT'S P.O.V.
Ranches and land are hotter than ever — and not just as places to get away for a weekend.
Thanks to the ability for some people to work from anywhere, more are moving to ranches. Imagine spending all year on one or half the year in the city and half the year at your ranch.
It can really open your mind.
Good news: We have an entire division of teams and individuals specializing in ranches and land — everything from weekend getaways to working spreads. Here are just some of our current listings:
Colorado River Ranch: In the famed Texas Hill Country, this vast oasis offers majestic views, luxurious lodging, and exotic wildlife, including sable, greater kudu, Grevy’s zebra, and Cape buffalo.
Mayer Ranch Polo: This ranch is a cornerstone of North Texas polo culture and is currently home to the women’s and men’s polo teams of Southern Methodist University. It offers a polo field, indoor polo arena, barns, staff quarters, main home, and helipad.
Palmar-Nogales Ranch: At nearly 82,000 acres, this Mexico offering represents some of the premier grazing country on the market. Just south of New Mexico, there are two contiguous ranches that offer valleys, hills, and a variety of grasses and vegetation, which are perfect for cattle.
Whispering Pines Ranch: In the heart of the Pineywoods of East Texas, this beautiful land in Henderson offers open pastureland and mature timber, plus a pond, springs and creeks. Wildlife thrives here.
There is nothing like land. And, they’re not making any more of it, which means you could see some returns on it as big as those Texas skies.
Come see what’s out there at briggsfreeman.com/ranch.
