Each Friday, the executives of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty write about luxury, trends, business and more in the advertising pages of the Mansion section of The Wall Street Journal. Below is CEO Robbie Briggs' letter of February 24, 2023.
FROM MY PERSPECTIVE
Frisco is on the go.
There is a lot of exciting news coming out of one of the most beloved cities in North Texas — a place where our agents have long been known as the experts on homes, neighborhoods and lifestyles. Here are just some of the recent big reveals:
The new home of modern golf: Set to open in May, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort will be the new place for golfers of all ages and skill levels. It features two 18-hole championship courses, a 10-hole short course and a putting course, plus retail and dining. The resort will offer 500 rooms, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses to rent, four pools and a full-service spa.
The future home of family fun: Universal Parks & Resorts has announced a theme park [pictured at top of post] specifically designed for families with young children, with themed lands, interactive shows, character meet-and-greets and food-and-beverage venues. Part of 97 acres of land recently purchased by the company — east of the Tollway and north of Panther Creek Parkway — the park also has plans for an adjacent themed hotel.
A new home for a legendary university: The University of North Texas has opened at Frisco Landing, the first building on the UNT at Frisco campus. The state-of-the-art building has been designed to promote collaboration and open communication between the faculty and students.
A new home for you? We have a busy office in Plano that also serves Frisco, McKinney and all the great areas around them. Come explore them all at briggsfreeman.com and on our blog, at briggsfreeman.com/blog.
There has never been a better time to live in the north of North Texas — and I know just the people who can help make it happen for you.
