Welcome To
Lake Bob Sandlin
Lake Bob Sandlin, located on Big Cypress Creek, is roughly 6 miles southwest of Mount Pleasant and 6 miles northwest of Pittsburg. The 9,460-acre reservoir is known as a top bass-fishing lake for anglers, with many quality options when pursuing sportfish: largemouth bass; spotted bass; white bass; channel catfish; crappie; and redear sunfish. Lake Bob Sandlin State Park is a nearly 640-acre park on the heavily wooded shoreline on the north side. Here, the Pineywoods, Oak Woods and Prairie regions converge to create a colorful spectacle of green pine trees standing in contrast to the yellows and reds of maples, hickory and sweetgum.
