Lake Granbury
Beautiful Lake Granbury sits in the heart of Granbury — hence its name. At more than 8,300 acres, it is the scene of camping, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding and more. Fishing is a highlight here: The poles come out for largemouth bass, white bass, sunfish, catfish and crappie. Boat ramps abound, and a very popular spot is City Beach, in the heart of town, with a splash park, thatched-roof picnic pavilions and kayak rentals in the summer. City Beach is also within walking distance to Granbury’s historic downtown square, where there are many places to eat and shop.
