The Spann Group, led by Laura and Jeremy Spann, is a successful top producing real estate team in Fort Worth for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. The team is the #6 top team in Tarrant County and strives to drive value for clients by giving them a luxury brand experience regardless of the price point. The team operates with two core values: mutual trust and our clients’ financial interest is the highest priority.

Their team shares a passion of combining travel and real estate. This allows them to personally meet agents across the globe connecting their clients with the best agents, within their extensive Sotheby’s network located in over 72 countries. 

Laura, a real estate broker, started her real estate career in 1999 after graduating from UTA and receiving her law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law. Although she is not a practicing attorney, her knowledge of the law is a huge asset to their clients. Both she and Jeremy are members of The Fort Worth Club and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and have one daughter, Maggie.

Jeremy drives value for clients by utilizing his education, experience, analytical mind and unorthodox style of thinking. He was a Chancellor Scholar at TCU for his undergraduate degree in Foreign Policy and obtained his MBA from TCU. He is a Marine and founded Cowtown Warriors in 2013, a non-profit organization that gives 100% of money raised to wounded, ill and injured veterans.

Michelle Stum grew up in West Texas and is committed to the best interests of her clients. Her love for real estate and helping others achieve their dreams of a new home began when she met her husband, Dustin Stum, a successful general contractor. They have two sons. She graduated from TCU with a B.S. in Advertising and Marketing. Her first job was in New York City as the Associate Director for Project Rebirth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting victims and first responders to events such as 9/11. She is a volunteer at Be My Eyes to help the blind, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni and the TCU Alumni Association.

ReyAnne Moorehead is a native Texan but grew up in Music City and this is where her love of country music was born. She attended Belmont University where she obtained her BBA and then returned to Texas in 1994. Fort Worth is now her home along with her son. Her early career was in the medical field where her open and honest communication allowed her to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships. These skills made the transition to real estate an easy one. She thrives on listening to her clients and making the process of finding their forever home a seamless process. 

Carol Van Hook, Laura’s mother and Spann Group advisory member, has almost 50 years of experience and was an instrumental force in the homestead sales of the Mira Vista community. She purchased the boutique firm, Mira Vista Realtors in 2008 and sold it in 2015 to Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. She has been in leadership roles including Vice President and President of the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors. She and her husband, James have been married since 1963 and are members of First United Methodist Church. Besides Laura, they have a son, retired Lt. Col. John Van Hook and three grandchildren, who are the light of her life.
