Sarah Melton joins the Wood + Davis Real Estate Group at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty after a successful twenty-year career as the Communications Director and Vice President of the Dallas Mavericks. Her prior role allowed her to build relationships with players, coaches, and media from around the globe, including Canada, China, France, Germany, Mexico, Senegal, Spain, and the United States.
A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Melton is a proud graduate of Indiana University and frequently returns to speak on campus. She also serves on the board of the Texas Advocacy Project, which offers free legal assistance to anyone suffering from domestic or dating violence, sexual assault or stalking.
Her husband, Keith, owns and operates a residential remodeling company called KS Construction Group, and together they live in Lake Highlands with their two rescue long-haired Dachshunds. Sarah enjoys running, reading, traveling, cooking, drinking fine wine, doing calligraphy and supporting the performing arts.
