Russ Anderson is the president and CEO of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, North Texas’ leading brokerage for exceptional homes, ranches, land and commercial property. He is responsible for the firm’s long-term strategies and its many day-to-day functions, including sales, marketing, relocation services, finance, technology and operations. He joined the brokerage in 2018 as its chief operating officer and was promoted to president in April 2021. Anderson has more than 30 years of experience and achievements in finance, banking and sales management. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Guardian Mortgage, a Dallas-based mortgage company with offices in six states. Anderson has held leadership roles with Bank of America, including as executive of its consumer-direct business for the mortgage product, Countrywide Financial, Wells Fargo, Prudential Home Mortgage and First Union National Bank. In 2022, Anderson was named to D CEO magazine’s Dallas 500, the influential annual list of the most powerful business leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth.
