Margo Bentsen
Global Real Estate Advisor | Sales Associate
As a decorated, top producing real estate agent for over 35 years, Margo understands the dynamic nature of the Dallas-Fort Worth housing market, offering valuable insights on when to sell and where to buy. From the sale and purchase of Texas properties to managing a variety of high-profile investments that include a shopping center and a 600+ vendor open market near the Reynosa-McAllen International Bridge, Margo knows how to achieve results.
Her background as a corporate loan officer gives her clients a distinct advantage in the marketplace, and her professional and meticulous nature gets the deal done. "Nothing is more rewarding to me than achieving maximum value for my client's home or finding them a neighborhood that suits their lifestyle," says Margo. "I keep my clients informed through the entire process and help them navigate the market so they can make one of the most important financial decisions of their lives."
With an affinity for Texas that runs deep, Margo's passion for all things home also extends to the outdoors. In fact, her family donated 760 acres to become the Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park, which now headquarters the renowned World Birding Center. "My grandfather always said 'You don't take down a tree without planting two' and I live my life by that motto to this day," she explains. "Nature is such an important part of a home. It adds to the quality of life, serves as a backdrop, and becomes part of the memories. I love walking down the boulevard at SMU and other iconic streets around the Metroplex to admire what was planted before us."
Margo is a member of Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty - the oldest boutique real estate firm in Dallas - where she brings exclusive marketing opportunities and unparalleled resources to her loyal clientele. She has co-listed large projects such as the Omni Residences Condominium development (over $70 million) which was sold out in two years. She provides peerless service and expertise to clients looking to buy their first home, downsize or move to a more urban, vertical lifestyle.
Margo is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where she was inducted to the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society for business majors. She holds a BBA and MBA - each with a focus on real estate. She is a member of Highland Park Methodist Church and is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, Children's Medical Hospital, Cox School of Business, S.M. Wright Foundation, YWCA of Dallas, Daily Hope, NRA, DFW Rescue Me, HPUMC, Habitat for Humanity, Purple Stride, SSCI and the Remington Great American Shoot. She loves landscaping of homes and is particularly drawn to Japanese Maples.
