Margo Bentsen's reputation for excellence stems from a long line of trusted professionals in real estate. Margo grew up in McAllen, Texas in the heart of the Rio Grande where her family settled over 100 years ago. Real estate, ranching and nature conservation were all part of the family business, and it's that same pioneering spirit that she carries with her today.

As a decorated, top producing real estate agent for over 35 years, Margo understands the dynamic nature of the Dallas-Fort Worth housing market, offering valuable insights on when to sell and where to buy. From the sale and purchase of Texas properties to managing a variety of high-profile investments that include a shopping center and a 600+ vendor open market near the Reynosa-McAllen International Bridge, Margo knows how to achieve results.

With an affinity for Texas that runs deep, Margo's passion for all things home also extends to the outdoors. In fact, her family donated 760 acres to become the Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park, which now headquarters the renowned World Birding Center. "My grandfather always said 'You don't take down a tree without planting two' and I live my life by that motto to this day," she explains. "Nature is such an important part of a home. It adds to the quality of life, serves as a backdrop, and becomes part of the memories. I love walking down the boulevard at SMU and other iconic streets around the Metroplex to admire what was planted before us."

She has co-listed large projects such as the Omni Residences Condominium development (over $70 million) which was sold out in two years. Margo is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where she was inducted to the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society for business majors. She holds a BBA and MBA - each with a focus on real estate.
