Throughout her career, Lisa Banks has been fascinated by what drives people, markets and businesses — and how the right strategic decisions can create lasting value. Today, she applies that perspective at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, where she serves as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor.

Lisa draws on more than 30 years of experience in business strategy, corporate leadership and advisory roles with some of the world’s most recognized consumer and retail brands, including Procter & Gamble, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works. At Lowe’s, she held responsibility for a billion-dollar home décor business, honing her insights into consumer segments, competitive environments and retail formats across diverse markets.

An MBA graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Lisa pairs analytical rigor and executive judgment with an instinct for connecting people, ideas and resources. She approaches real estate through the broader lens of the client’s business — considering market dynamics, operating priorities, risk and long-term objectives alongside the property itself.
Her commercial interests include land and development opportunities, retail and mixed-use properties, and assignments where market positioning and business strategy play an important role. She combines her experience with the research, valuation, marketing and transaction capabilities of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty and the reach of the Sotheby’s International Realty network.

Relationships have been a constant throughout Lisa’s career. She values curiosity, trust and integrity, and has built lasting connections with executives, business owners and community leaders nationwide. Her leadership experience includes service on the board of OhioHealth, a nationally recognized nonprofit healthcare system. She has also served as an alumni admissions interviewer for Chicago Booth and enjoys supporting emerging business leaders.

Away from work, Lisa and her husband share an enthusiasm for cultivating orchids — a pursuit that rewards the same qualities she values professionally: patience, care and attention to detail.
