Laura grew up in Highland Park, Texas, attending Bradfield and Armstrong elementary schools, McCulloch Intermediate School and Highland Park High School. Laura grew up in Highland Park, Texas, attending Bradfield and Armstrong elementary schools, McCulloch Intermediate School and Highland Park High School. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in art history and advertising. She enjoyed a career in advertising and marketing at well-known Dallas institutions, including Publicis/Bloom, Dr Pepper/7Up and Nortel. Now, in addition to her real-estate career, Laura oversees marketing and strategic planning for Emily Summers Design Associates and Emily Summers Studio. Her mother, Emily Summers, is recognized as one of the nation’s preeminent designers, and for many consecutive years has been honored as one of the AD100, Architectural Digest magazine’s annual list of the top architects and interior designers in the world. Laura brings to her clients an extensive knowledge of Park Cities real estate plus marketing expertise and a deep appreciation of architecture and design. She lives in the Park Cities with her husband, Travis Briggs, and three children. She is actively involved as a volunteer at their schools as well as at the National Charity League and Dwell with Dignity.
