Born and raised in the close-knit community of Graham, TX, Kandy Hale Maberry has always had a deep appreciation for people, places, and the stories they hold. She attended Texas Christian University, earning a BFA in Art Education, where she was a proud member of Tri Delta sorority and the TCU Showgirls pom squad. Her passion for creativity and connection led her to pursue a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Vermont College, blending her love for art with her fascination for people.
 
Kandy’s journey into real estate began in 1994 in Dallas, where she started as an assistant to a top-producing agent. She quickly obtained her real estate license and established herself as an art and design specialist, helping stage homes to maximize their appeal. Over the years, she worked with several prominent Dallas brokers, refining her expertise and expanding her industry knowledge.
 
In 2001, Kandy and her architect husband, Matt, moved to Fort Worth, where she continued her real estate career with a leading local firm. She was an active member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, the Modern Art Museum, and First United Methodist Church. In 2005, the Maberry family returned to Graham, where Kandy explored new ventures—managing a fashion company, owning an art gallery, and teaching in the Graham public school system.
 
Nine years ago, Kandy and her family returned to the West Fort Worth/Aledo area, where she rekindled her true passion—real estate. As part of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, she leverages global marketing opportunities and extensive networking connections to provide unparalleled service to her clients. While residential sales remain a cornerstone of her expertise, Kandy also specializes in Farm, Ranch, and Land Sales in Young, Stephens, Palo Pinto, and Parker Counties, helping clients find the perfect property for their needs.
 
Beyond real estate, Kandy is deeply committed to her community, having served on numerous boards, coached youth sports, and actively participated in church initiatives. She and Matt are proud parents of two accomplished children—a daughter attending The Charleston School of Law and a son competing in track and field at Ole Miss.
