Jon obtained his real state license in 2017 after a 30-year career as a tennis professional. Jon obtained his real state license in 2017 after a 30-year career as a tennis professional. He attended Strake Jesuit High School in Houston before earning an English degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After college, Jon served as an adjunct faculty member at Austin Community College, teaching tennis, basketball and conditioning. Eventually he became a full-time country club tennis professional, leading programs in Virginia, North Carolina and Mississippi.

In 2012, Jon moved back to the Lone Star State and purposefully landed in University Park. His son, Tristan, played on three consecutive state championship tennis teams and was captain of the team his senior year at Highland Park High School. Tristan is currently studying at UT Austin and his older sister, Allison, is graduate school in Oxford, England.

In 2014, Jon married his favorite real estate advisor/mentor, Vicki Foster, a top producer at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. They now live in Preston Hollow where Jon relishes his time in the kitchen and especially on his pellet grill. An unofficial aficionado of specialty beers, he has brewed in the past and has acquired quite the discerning palate. Jon loves anything and everything competitive. Whatever he embraces, he is determined to master.
