Elaina Kay

A north Texas native, Elaina Kay grew up on her family’s ranch in Wichita Falls, Texas. She helped with their cutting horse business – from the breeding program, training, showing, gathering cattle, and every ranch chore in between.

A north Texas native, Elaina Kay grew up on her family’s ranch in Wichita Falls, Texas. She helped with their cutting horse business – from the breeding program, training, showing, gathering cattle, and every ranch chore in between.

Elaina attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, where she joined the rodeo team competing in barrel racing. She also had the opportunity of working on a hunting television show that took wounded war veterans to different ranches across Texas. She worked her way through college as an equine vet tech. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in biology while continuing to compete in rodeo. After graduating college, she started a career in veterinary pharmaceutical sales, specializing in equine.

Elaina Kay has also been recognized as an established singer/songwriter. She started an annual food and music festival called Cornbread & Country, that benefits first responders. Her husband is a Dallas fireman and caters the Texas BBQ for the event. Prior to her real estate career, Elaina toured nationally with Rhett Miller of the Old 97’s, Wynonna Judd, Jason Boland & The Stragglers and more. She was nominated for a Dallas Observer Music Award as well as featured in Rolling Stone.

Elaina’s passion for the cowgirl lifestyle led her into ranch real estate. Her knowledge and experience of working ranches gives her clients the confidence they need when buying or selling farm and ranch properties.

Elaina is a member of the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, as well as the National Cutting Horse Association.
