Debbie is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors. She is a 28-year member of Colonial Country Club and has been a 10-year volunteer as a PGA statistics recorder for the Fort Worth stop on the PGA Tour. She has been actively involved in the Fort Worth Women's Club and various charities over the years. She is also happy to have participated in numerous volunteer positions at Trinity Valley School for the 16 years her daughters were students at the school.

She is a graduate of Western Michigan University, majoring in education with a triple minor in elementary education, history and Spanish. She is the extremely proud mother of two TCU Horned Frog daughters who have both received their master's degrees and are successfully working and living in San Francisco and Houston. She resides in West Fort Worth with her husband and two much-loved English Setters.
