David Arvesen, as a real estate broker and real estate appraiser, brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and proven results to all his clients. David’s insight into the DFW real estate market comes from over thirty years as a residential and commercial real estate appraiser. He previously was awarded both MAI and SRA designations in real estate valuation (commercial and residential) and utilized his expertise with several local real estate companies and a large national bank where David managed all commercial appraisals (midmarket) for the western half of the United States. In 2019, David joined his wife Malinda at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty and created the Arvesen Group to provide the best representation for their clients in all areas of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. David is knowledgeable about construction and value and provides good support to every client, whether buying or selling.

The Arvesen Group serves Dallas area’s desirable close-in neighborhoods : University Park, Highland Park, Preston Hollow, Devonshire, Bluffview, Lake Highlands, Uptown and Lakewood. In addition, they serve many cities throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex such as Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Mid-Cities, and Fort Worth.

David’s roots in real estate are deep. His father was Chief Appraiser for the southwest region of Fannie Mae. Originally from Elmhurst, Illinois, David moved to Richardson and graduated from Baylor University in Waco. He began his career with Lawyer’s Title Insurance before joining his father for many years in operating their respected Dallas real estate appraisal firm. David and Malinda live in the Park Cities area and have raised their three children in the Highland Park ISD. The Arvesens are members of Northwest Bible Church, and David is an avid cyclist and completing many incredible bike rides including the Triple Bypass ride in Colorado. He also enjoys bridge, travel, and cheering on the Baylor Bears.
