Clay's career has been shaped by an uncommon path through the Texas real estate industry. For more than five years, he worked directly as Vice President alongside one of North Texas' top luxury and ranch brokers, gaining firsthand experience in every aspect of high-value transactions. During that time, he played an integral role in more than 200 real estate transactions representing well over $200 million in sales, contributing to complex negotiations, marketing strategy, due diligence, contract management, and client representation across luxury residential, ranch, recreational, and development properties.

That experience provided Clay with a perspective rarely developed so early in a career. Rather than learning one transaction at a time, he was immersed in some of North Texas' most significant ranch and luxury real estate opportunities, building expertise in land valuation, development potential, agricultural exemptions, recreational properties, and the unique considerations that accompany high-value real estate.

Today, Clay focuses on representing discerning buyers and sellers throughout Parker County, Aledo, Tarrant County, Fort Worth, and the surrounding communities in North Texas. Before real estate, Clay built a reputation in another uniquely Texan profession. After working on his uncle's ranch, he discovered a passion for crafting custom cowboy hats, eventually helping manage one of Fort Worth's premier hat stores. His craftsmanship led him to create hats for world champion rodeo athletes, country music artists, and proud Texans from across the country. That chapter not only connected him with remarkable people but reinforced values that continue to define his business today: craftsmanship, authenticity, attention to detail, and genuine relationships.

Clay's entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond real estate. In 2016, he founded Positive Times +X, a lifestyle brand that grew into a nationally recognized trademark later acquired by American Hat Co. Today, the iconic +X mark appears on thousands of cowboy hats and continues to honor the legacy of Clay's late mentor, Keith Maddox.
