After earning a business degree from Texas Christian University, he was involved in all phases of real-estate development, including a year-long project in South Africa. He then relocated to Fort Worth and attended the TCU Ranch Management program. After graduation, Clay pursued his love of ranching, starting a small cattle consulting company as well as selling ranches. He joined the Burgher-Ray Ranch Group within Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty in 2017 and continues to help ranch owners improve the sustainability of their ranches for generations to come. In his free time, Clay gravitates toward all things outdoors. He specifically likes hunting and wing-shooting activities. Clay, his wife Abby, and their daughters Bleecker and Marion, enjoy spending their time at the family ranches in Nevada and Texas.
