Carol Van Hook has been a licensed real estate agent in the Fort Worth area for more than forty years. She was instrumental and a driving force in the homestead sales phases in the upscale Mira Vista Community in southwest Fort Worth. She was the broker and manager there for more than ten years. In 2008 she opened her own boutique real estate firm in southwest Fort Worth. Over the years, Carol and her team of REALTORS® made an impressive impact in the DFW real estate market.


She has been recognized in the real estate industry with many awards and honors over the years. Some of these honors include the President’s Circle Award for fifteen years as a recognized top producer; member of the Board of Directors of Greater Fort Worth Board of Realtors (GFWAR) 1995-1997 and 2002-2003; Greater Fort Worth Realtor of the Year in 2005; elected vice president of the Greater Fort Worth Board of Realtors (GFWAR) in 2012; and served as president of the Greater Fort Worth Board of Realtors in 2014.


She is active in the Fort Worth community and is a member of First United Methodist Church, Fort Worth, where she has served in many leadership positions. She and her husband, James, are members of Colonial Country Club. She is passionate about the YWCA and has served in leadership roles with the YWCA.


She is the mother of two children: Laura Spann, a Realtor, and Lt. Col. John Van Hook, active duty, United States Army. Her three grandchildren are the light of her life. She has been married to James Van Hook since 1963.
