Bernie Nauta was born in the Netherlands and raised in Canada—but in 1972, he became a Texan by choice. A licensed real-estate agent since 1984, Bernie has been involved in a sister industry, mortgage lending, for more than thirty years. He strives to give his clients more and better options when it comes to selecting a home mortgage and planning for their future.

Recently, he decided the time was right to team up with his wife Bip Nauta, a longtime real-estate agent, to help maximize the options together for their clients, past, present and future. Bernie’s personal and business experience has helped him develop a philosophy of listening closely to what his clients’ goals are and tailoring choices to fit their needs. Over the years, he has had numerous repeat customers and referrals because of this philosophy and his personal service.

Bernie’s commitment to a “smooth sailing to closing” extends to his free time, spent with his family on their sailboat. The apples of his eye are his granddaughters Caitlin, Jordyn and Jadyn and his grandson, Jeff.
