Shannon began her career as an attorney with the federal government working for the United States Office of Special Counsel before switching to private practice where she is a litigation attorney in the areas of real estate, community association, and commercial law. Through her practice in community association and real estate law, Shannon serves as general counsel for property owners’ associations, as well as property management companies. She also represents property owners’ associations and property management companies in lawsuits. Shannon understands the importance of strategic negotiation to best serve her clients. Shannon is accustomed to communicating in a variety of contexts from the courtroom to the negotiation table and to everyday communications with clients to keep them informed and confident throughout the entire process. With the experience and knowledge that she cultivated as an attorney in real estate law, a real estate career is a perfect fit.

When not interacting with her clients, Shannon volunteers to help represent children in the foster care system through Dallas CASA. She is also a member of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (“SPCA”) and Young Professionals. Shannon and her husband, Michael, love to travel and spend time with their six animals (also known as “The Zoo”).

Originally from Southern California, Shannon Spizman came to Dallas, Texas to attend Southern Methodist University and compete with their competitive cheerleading team. After graduating from SMU, Shannon went to Texas Tech University School of Law and received her JD.
