Michael is a third generation Dallasite who has spent over twenty-five years in the real estate industry. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas where he received a tennis/academic scholarship and has completed graduate work in marketing at the Cox School of Business at SMU.
After college, Michael pursued his real estate license while working for a residential construction company. He has renovated more than twenty homes in Dallas and started a custom residential design/build company responsible for multiple new home projects over the past several years. His passion for and understanding of residential design and construction has served his clients well in his real estate practice. He has a great understanding of what constitutes quality construction and the range of remodeling and new build alternatives available to a new homeowner. He also has a unique expertise for educating sellers about the best ways to prepare a property for sale.
Michael has an outstanding record of community service and volunteer activities. He is a past board member of Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and served as chairman of the Art and Design Committee and the Rail Design/Build Committee of the board during the critical early years of the agency's rail construction program.
He served for several years as a director of the MetroTex Association of Realtors, and was president in 2003. He was named Realtor of the Year by MetroTex in 2002 and Manager of the Year in 2004.
Michael has long been active with Habitat for Humanity and has volunteered locally and around the world including the Philippines, Thailand, India, Central America and Mexico.
Other interests include a passion for fly-fishing, a continued love affair with tennis, and singing with a Renaissance acapella ensemble. He's married to Ann Turbeville Campbell and together they have a daughter, Julia, and a son, Davis.
