John Kidd is the Assistant Vice President of Sales for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, the leading luxury brokerage in Dallas, Fort Worth and all of North Texas.

Known for his spirit and determination, John works directly with the brokerage’s executive team in a key role that includes agent recruitment and retention; mentoring, coaching and assisting agents with their business goals, contracts and more; brokerage project management; and espousing the famously high standards of the Sotheby’s International Realty to the world at large.

In his real estate career, John has immersed himself in every aspect of the industry, including brokerage operations, business planning and forecasting, core business functions, technology exploration and agent recruiting, retention, coaching and training. On the client side, he has managed hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate transactions, from start to close, including contracts, property marketing and more. Learning from the best in the business has allowed John to experience and handle an array of different transactions, both traditional and unorthodox — which is of unique value in his role as an agent advisor.

John has a finance degree from Louisiana Tech University, where he was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. He is an avid sports fan — basketball, especially — and is licensed in skydiving by the United States Parachute Association.
