Emily West is a native Texan who grew up on a historical family farm near Greenville, Texas.  During her high school years, she worked at her father’s real estate firm where she directly experienced the importance of trust and communication, as well as the time and dedication necessary to best meet the needs of her clients.  Through a deep connection of family, farm life and knowledge that she obtained from her father, Emily gained an early appreciation for the attributes that make each home unique and precious to its owners.

Prior to pursing her real estate career in 2015, Emily practiced as an Occupational Therapist where she treated orthopedic, stroke, burn and cardiac patients for over 22 years.   Emily practices a similar approach in real estate as she has for many years with her patients, she strives to earn each client’s confidence and trust as she approaches unique situations with a calm and positive attitude.

With an aptitude for photography and previous experience in interior design, Emily obtained a designation as a certified home marketing specialist (CHMS).   This additional experience enables her to assist her clients with staging and aesthetic modification during the listing

process.

Emily is the proud mother of two teenage boys.  Her older one attends The University of Texas in Austin.  Currently she and her younger son reside in Bluffview Estates in Dallas.  In her free time, Emily enjoys medical volunteer work in Haiti, travel, and spending time with family and her fiancé.

Emily is excited to be returning to the Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s family to join Gina Lester’s top producing team.  She shares the same common goals and values as her team members…a deep desire to provide exceptional service with a happy, low stress experience while buying or selling a home.
