Although she was raised in Denver, Colorado, Amy Trott fell in love with Texas after attending Texas Christian University for her undergraduate studies. Amy received a B.S. degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business. She immediately put that to work by opening the highly-acclaimed Fort Worth boutique, A. Hooper & Company.
Known for her approachable demeanor, tireless work ethic and keen eye, Amy enjoyed approximately ten years of success and was widely embraced by even the most discriminating of clothing shoppers. A. Hooper & Co. also helped her finely tune her sales skills and develop a marketing acumen rivaled by few in her industry. During that time, Amy was honored by being asked to return to TCU multiple times to speak to undergraduate students in the Fashion Merchandising program about her industry success. Additionally, her business was awarded "Best Women's Clothing Store" by FW Weekly.
After having two children, Amy then focused her energy on motherhood. During that time and after the encouragement of a few clients, Amy again put her talented eye back to work and opened a small private interior design firm, A. Trott Designs, with two friends. Amy spent a couple of years enjoying both corporate and residential interior design work and subsequently realized she loved working with real estate.
In 2013, she chose to pursue a career in real estate, as it was an ideal fit for her to utilize her widespread contacts, as well as her sales and marketing expertise. Since then, Amy has found her home at Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty and is in a promising career assisting a fantastically diverse clientele with any and all of their real estate needs.
