Pamila Johnson is the director of sales for the Fort Worth offices of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, founded in 1960 and the leading luxury brokerage in North Texas. Her key responsibilities include strategic planning, business planning, agent support, agent recruitment, agent development and business leadership.
Johnson’s real estate career has been rich and varied. Most recently, she was the broker/director of realty for Magnolia Realty, the full-service brokerage founded by Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines, stars of the blockbuster renovation show Fixer Upper and founders of Magnolia, the successful home-design store and line of lifestyle goods. Johnson was instrumental in laying the platform of the Waco-based brokerage, increasing sales and expanding the brokerage throughout major metropolitan markets in Texas, including Austin, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth. In her career, Johnson has built her own brokerage for residential, farm and ranch sales and was the sales and marketing manager for a prominent Texas commercial real estate firm, with offices in Houston, Austin and Bryan-College Station. Her strengths and successes include managing sales teams for multiple locations, developing marketing strategies and implementing marketing campaigns. Johnson has also served as a professional recruiter, sourcing upper-level executives, and is degreed in organizational management.
Fort Worth — already Johnson’s favorite Texas city — is now home, after raising her three children in College Station. When not directing sales for the Cultural District and Mira Vista offices of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, you’ll find Johnson spoiling her two grandsons, traveling or cooking Mexican food.
