Sammy Bellows II
Like most successful Realtors, Sam Bellows is truly a Renaissance man. As a young boy growing up in East Texas, he counted World War II veterans among his closest friends and indulged his fascination with history hanging around antique stores and poring over Sotheby’s appraisal catalogues.
In addition to developing an eye for artifacts of different styles and periods and understanding their value, Sam explored other hobbies of years gone by, including watchmaking and woodturning hollow form vases that made their way to Dallas galleries. Finding it difficult to locate the right tools, he took it upon himself to learn to blacksmith and made them.
Seeing a need in the market, Sam and his brother started a business sourcing high-end knives for private clients around the world. He enjoyed working with clients on a personal level and helping them locate hard-to-find pieces. “I’m really passionate about helping people find what they’re looking for,” says Sam. “I would go to extreme lengths to help find what they want.”
Along with his diverse array of interests, Sam’s deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship, entrepreneurial spirit, and sincere desire to help others has ultimately led him to a career in real estate.
Under the tutelage of a Dallas real estate veteran, Sam has spent the last decade learning the ins and outs of the industry and building upon his knowledge of identifying and appraising historic homes.
In his free time, Sam enjoys being with his family and spending time with the love of his life, Danik, planning future adventures together.... Less
