Michael grew up in San Diego, California as the youngest of four brothers, and he began acquiring his business acumen during his childhood. His father founded an advertising agency when he was young, which gave him a head start as he watched his father negotiate transactions and nurture personal relationships with his valued clientele. Michael feels grateful for his upbringing in a supportive and entrepreneurial-minded family.
Even then, his curiosity led him to investigate the field he would later identify as his passion. “I can remember asking my parents questions about residential and commercial real estate when we would move houses or relocate the office,” he says. He interned for a commercial and residential property management company in college, which helped him realize that his true desire was to sell properties, not manage them. He graduated with a degree in business administration from Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business.
Michael is no stranger to hard work and invests himself completely in all that he does. He was a starting wide receiver on the football team for three years at Chapman, and after college, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona to work for a private land developer. Here, in an entirely new environment, he thrived handling the significant responsibilities with which he had been entrusted-raising funds to construct shopping centers and housing developments on raw land that the company owned in Maricopa County.
Michael knows the real estate process from the ground-up; he has honestly seen homes in every stage, and, as a result, he recognizes value and delivers the best to his clientele. He quickly acclimates to new surroundings and has already laid the foundations of an immensely successful career here in Dallas. His background allows him to assess every transaction with his astute eye for business. “I was confident that my previous sales experience in the real estate industry would transfer to residential real estate,” he says.
This proved correct, as Michael has exceled in the industry and forged meaningful bonds with contacts along the way. He prioritizes transparency, communication and trust over everything - and this level of service has allowed him to bring his clients outstanding results. He got his first listing within his first 30 days of real estate, and he rose through the ranks to become a million-dollar producer within six months of receiving his license in Texas.
