As a young man, Matt helped develop and conserve farm and ranch properties in Illinois, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Texas. Seeing this process of land cultivation and development gave him the initial desire for the business.

Matt also holds a Finance degree from the SMU Cox School of Business, which comes in handy when working in the commercial space.
