Janie Kappler joined the Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty team because of the brand’s commitment to building relationships through exceptional customer service. She believes it is important to provide her clients with a concierge-style service from project start to finish and beyond. Janie has experience in buying and selling single-family homes, luxury high-rise condominiums and family sensitive estate sales. When assisting a client in buying a home, she listens to their lifestyle needs, to the features required in a home, and where their career and family frequently takes them. If her client is selling a home, she will note the assets of the property and with the client’s input she will build a marketing plan that fits.
A native Texan, Janie has lived and worked in the Dallas Ft. Worth area for 40 years. During those years, she has witnessed old great neighborhoods turn into great new neighborhoods and old buildings become modern and chic. She brings value to her clients with knowledge of construction from the ground up to the interior design.
The Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex is excitingly ever changing which creates new opportunities for its current residents and for recent “transplants” a wonderful place to call home. Janie stays informed about new corporations and businesses moving to the area as well the best schools in the neighborhoods she serves.
Janie’s community involvement is currently centered in North Arlington. She and her husband enjoy their membership at Rolling Hills Country Club where they both golf and volunteer for local and state golf tournaments. She organized a ladies’ member/guest 2-day tournament in 2012, 2013 and 2014, played a part in two community murder mystery plays and currently orchestrates a lady’s monthly birthday club of twenty-five ladies. In the past, Janie has been a Girl Scout assistant leader, volunteered time with the Texas Girls’ Choir, the Fort Worth Pioneer Days, and an NFL alumni golf tournament.
