Fielding Chandler is a Broker with approximately 30 years of experience, knowledge, and professionalism with real estate, including 25 years of residential and commercial appraisal practice. Joining Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, Fielding brings his understanding of the complexities of real estate to buyers, sellers, and Investors.

Fielding understands that real estate is not just the ground under your feet or a structure.  Each property is unique, personal, and requires a professional relationship.  His grandfather spoke of a time when a hand shake was as good as your bond and Fielding’s  goal is to bring that personal experience to  his clients combined with the exceptional resources provided by Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.

He has strong roots with Texas as a 6th generation family in the Fort Worth area and a descendant of the Spanish Canary Islanders who settled San Antonio in the 1700’s, as well as John W. Smith, the last messenger from the Alamo and the first Mayor of San Antonio under the Republic of Texas.

He graduated from New Mexico Military Institute and earned his BA Degree in Economics and Philosophy from the University of New Mexico.

He is also a Certified Commercial Real Estate Appraiser with years of valuation experience with residential andcommercial properties in multiple states.  In addition, he is experienced as a Petroleum Landman dealing with complex mineral issues, ownership, and title research.

Fielding is a devoted husband of over 20 years to his wife, Emily.  She is a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular ICU Unit.  Together they have 5 children with four daughters and a son in the middle.  As a dedicated husband and parent, he understands that responsibility is paramount.

Volunteerism as an opportunity to give back and serve, truly underscores his values and commitment to family and community.  He has served on several Boards, including Ballet Concerto.  He has coached his children’s soccer teams and is constantly involved with the coordination of volunteers for events.
