I have been blessed to have made my career over the last 20 years in various aspects of real estate.
During the first 10 years, I worked in acquisitions and development for a real estate investment trust (REIT) in Fort Worth. I conducted and managed analyses in acquisitions, underwriting and due diligence of potential and existing real estate portfolios of Class A office property for potential investment within markets in Texas and the U.S. I was simultaneously involved in the development and completion of high-rise office assets in the downtown Houston market. Over the past 10 years and currently, I have been fortunate to serve as vice president for a private investment company and to explore opportunities within multiple areas of real estate, including office, retail, lifestyle developments and infrastructure projects. I subsequently became the director of one of the lifestyle developments, a 3,700-acre private partnership recreational ranch in Bosque County, Texas. Being involved in aspects of conceptual land planning, construction management oversight, sales, and marketing with the overall management of the ranch operations and personnel has given me a complete understanding of the true potential of a property.
Born and raised in Texas, I am proud to have grown up in Fort Worth and I was lucky enough to marry my high school sweetheart, Marty. I am a graduate of Texas Christian University with a BBA in marketing, a graduate of the Ranch Management Program at TCU, and received a Graduate Certificate of Finance from Southern Methodist University.
My family lives in Weatherford, where it is a joy to raise our son, Henry John. We maintain roots in many counties in and around the North and West Texas regions. As my hometown area has grown, matured, and now flourished, it is exciting to be with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty and to be able to offer my professional experience through such a reputable and innovative marketing platform. I understand the many opportunities presented to a land owner or buyer in this part of the growing state.
