Bret knows that buying or selling a home can be one of the most impactful decisions in a person’s or family’s life. And when trying to juggle life and make the right decisions, clients want someone diligently working hard and passionately fighting for them. In a world where customer service and contact are beginning to fade, Bret strives for individual detailed attention and responsiveness at the highest level of integrity. His goal is to provide the luxury brand experience of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty to all clients on both the buyers’ and sellers’ side whether they are looking in the $100,000 or $100,000,000 range.
Born and raised in DFW, Bret stayed local so he could be close to his future wife, by attending The University of Texas at Arlington. There he started in the architecture program but finished his undergraduate studies in Business Management. As an undergraduate, he was accepted into the Goolsby Leadership Academy, was Head Academic Chair for Sigma Phi Epsilon, joined Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leaders and Honors Organization, and was recognized by the Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Academic Honor Society. While working in the corporate world, he obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Leadership.
After college, Bret had the opportunity to build a unique set of experiences while working in the mortgage, aerospace, technology, and commercial real estate industries. Some of his responsibilities included budget control of more than sixty million dollars with over two-hundred domestic and international employees and managed all the costs related to the program activity totaling $140 million plus in contracts. He handled a top five supplier totaling $590 million plus in contracts for a Fortune 100 company and developed over twenty-five executive and C-Suite level relationships to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction for clients while navigating and solving proprietary software solutions for newly mandated regulations in the classification of corporate leases.
With all that experience, he has learned it’s about the people. The work will come and go but the relationships are what make jobs worthwhile. This discovery led him into his passion for helping guide individuals (and their families) to what is a major life decision.
Bret resides in Frisco Texas, in the Starwood community with his beautiful wife, Mallory, son, Braxton, daughter, Brooklynn and dog, Bentley. They love to play and follow sports (Cowboys, FC Dallas, Mavs, Rangers, Stars), be outdoors or by the pool surrounded by family and friends.... Less
