Brandi Tapp comes from a long line of real estate professionals that value service, knowledge, and exceptional client relationships above all else. Her father was a successful mortgage lender, broker, and appraiser, while her grandmother worked as a reputable agent. Brandi carries on the family legacy today, working alongside her sister, Ashli Tapp Clements, a sought after real estate agent at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
Together they bring double the service, marketing, and expertise to get a home sold. They also live and work by the golden rule, treating every client like family, while keeping their best interests at heart. In fact, Brandi’s motto is “be the person your dog believes you to be” and her knack for serving people is second to none.
“It seems that my personality is one that likes to fix things and situations,” says Brandi. “If someone is looking for a new job, I’ll reach out to everyone I know in that industry, or if someone needs help fundraising, I’ll call or email as many people as I can. I love helping people.” This translates to unmatched personal attention, coupled by the reach and resources of the world’s leading luxury real estate brand.
Brandi’s proven track record of results stems from a background in finance and customer service, making her hypersensitive to clients’ needs. Prior to real estate, she established a successful career in the mortgage and investment industries working for big name brands – Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corp., Bernstein Global Wealth Management, Allianz Global Investors Capital/NFJ Investment Group, and Westwood Holdings Group – where she served high-net-worth individuals and worked closely with the Emerging Markets, Global Equities, and Global Convertible strategies teams. This unique skillset gives her clients a clear advantage in Dallas’ competitive marketplace.
“I think about every little detail,” Brandi says. “I even come up with back-up plans in case things don’t work out like I originally expected. I pride myself on being proactive instead of reactive, and anticipate client needs and questions in order to keep the process moving.”
She lives and works in a subdivision on Royal and Marsh, a community prized for its older ranch style homes, quiet, close-knit feel, and proximity to all the major highways. “Plus, it’s less than five minutes from my sister’s house and about 15 minutes from my parent’s house,” she adds. “I’ve lived here for over 14 years now. It was the first home I purchased and I’m still here!”
Brandi also believes in giving back and is actively involved in charities and organizations that support women and children. These include The Family Place, Dallas CASA, and the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Dallas Chapter. In addition, Brandi is an advisor to the SMU Chi Omega Iota Alpha Chapter. She was a Chi Omega at Texas Tech where she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.
When she is not out showing homes or closing deals, Brandi can be found at the lake, spending time with her toy poodle Molly and black lab Charli, or watching football and soccer games with her fiancé and friends. If you are looking for an agent with relentless drive and a hands-on approach, give Brandi Tapp a call. She will work diligently to exceed any of your buying and selling needs.
