Bess has been heard to say, “I am a survivor of many things and a lover of everything else.”
Bess Dickson’s passion for real estate began as a teenager in the Philippines, Austria and Honduras. Working with a nonprofit to build and provide housing for those less fortunate allowed her to see how a home could transform a family. Since then, that desire to help friends and clients through each step of the process has become her trademark.
Whether a person is stepping into the world of real estate for the first time or is a long-time experienced player, being involved in a real estate transaction is both exciting and at times intimidating. Bess’ objective with each transaction is to help her clients navigate swiftly, efficiently and safely to their desired goal; whether buying a first home, leveraging current property for maximum cash or looking to invest for long-term mailbox funds. Her hard work, dedication to problem solving and negotiating skills can ensure that the experience is as smooth as possible. Her promise is to work toward a seamless buying or selling experience where preparation and opportunity meet.
In addition to real estate knowledge and experience, Bess Dickson has a strong eye for the creative. Consulting with Bess on trends, costs and return on investment are just a few of the key pieces she brings to the table. She can help her clients see how renovation choices on a potential home can contribute to their bottom line and what upgrades are worth making because they help a house to sell.
“No matter if you are a first time or experienced buyer or new to the Dallas area, I would consider it a privilege to be your property guide, Dallas neighborhood ambassador and real estate agent. Through the process I look forward to building a friendship and partnership for a lifetime,” Bess says.
When Bess is not in a house she may be running throughout Dallas and beyond, cooking with family and friends (Bess is a two-time salsa cookoff champion), repurposing found junk or volunteering with Preservation Dallas, Back on My Feet, Friends of the Katy Trail as well as a variety of cancer organizations.
