Abigail comes by her affinity for real estate naturally. Some of her earliest and fondest memories are of visiting construction sites with her dad. In the ‘70s and ‘80s, he built luxury homes in Dallas’ most desirable neighborhoods, including the Park Cities, Oak Lawn, and Preston Hollow. Her love of home décor is also an inherited trait-her mother was an interior designer.
She’s always been drawn to entrepreneurial pursuits working for tech start-ups, owning a high-end home décor store, and providing strategic consulting to small businesses. During her seven-year career at Neiman Marcus, Abigail managed the NorthPark Gift Galleries department; later overseeing large technology projects for the Neiman Marcus Group online division. She also ran the retail division of Wisteria and consulted with national retailers for Deloitte.
From New York City to Mexico City and beyond, Abigail has lived and worked around the world. She currently lives in the SoHip neighborhood of Oak Lawn in a 1920s duplex.
Abigail is fluent in Spanish and regularly dabbles in other languages. She holds a B.A. in The History & Philosophy of Science from Columbia University, a Master of Journalism from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Abigail feels she’s come full circle by becoming a real estate agent - combining her love of interior design, her passion for luxury level customer service, her entrepreneurial spirit and her business acumen. She chose Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty because, in her words, it is “the Neiman Marcus of real estate.”
