Drawing on exceptional people skills, integral market knowledge and a passion to help people find their perfect home, Lucinda Buford works diligently with her clients to ensure that their unique needs are met.
After earning a degree in Industrial Psychology from Rhodes College, Lucinda relocated to Dallas in 1990. She began her career in retail and corporate training winning numerous awards in her industry. This experience working with diverse groups pursing high-level goals was valuable training in creating a tenacious, knowledgeable and detail-oriented agent.
Her career in Real Estate began with founding a homebuilding company with her husband in 1998. That coupled with her extensive volunteer leadership were valuable springboards into her career with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
After several years of working exclusively with her husband, Lucinda partnered with Tessa Mosteller in January of 2009. Their partnership has thrived, increasing in sales each year, ending with over $17,000,000 in sales in 2011, with listings selling in an average of 46 days. Lucinda has been elected as a Top Producer by D Magazine in both 2010 and 2011, based on her sales production compared to area Realtors.
Her extensive knowledge of properties both on and off the market is a powerful tool, whether buying or selling. “I believe agent networking is a valuable part of the business in today’s rising market, as buyers and sellers often go under contract before a listing is offered to the general public,” says Lucinda. “There is a great benefit to working with 150 Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty agents, as it gives me a tremendous edge in market awareness.” In addition, Lucinda and Tessa both are members of several networking groups with other Realtors.
When helping her clients through a transaction, her commitment never waivers – a much valued trait in the industry. Whether listing, marketing, negotiating, closing or following up – her passion remains strong throughout each stage.
