Christy Berry

Christy Berry, ARB, ALHS, GREEN, an associate with Briggs Freeman Residential Brokerage, holds a Doctorate degree in Family Studies. That education and her experiences allow Christy to understand the emotional and financial challenges in buying and selling a family’s most important asset – their home.

She has also remodeled several homes and condominiums near the Park Cities’ campus of Southern Methodist University. That experience gives her in-depth understanding of home construction. She knows what features are important to buyers and which features sellers should emphasize.

Things to know about Christy Berry:

She has been married to Rob Berry for more than 26 years, and they have five children. She was born in Iowa and grew up in St. Louis and New York City. She graduated from Briarcliff College, earned her master’s degree at Oklahoma City University and her doctorate at Texas Women’s University. Before she started buying and selling real estate, she was a researcher at the famed Cooper Institute in Dallas. She has lived in England and France.

An active civic volunteer, Christy has served as Vice-President of the Dallas Zoological Society and been a member of other Boards such as the museum of Natural History and Girls Adventure Trails. She started the Girl's Youth Lacrosse program in the DFW area, serves as a member of the regional Board of US Lacrosse, and is a member of the Junior League of Dallas.
