President and CEO Robbie Briggs proudly announces that his firm has joined the Sotheby's International RealtyŽ network. The firm's new name is Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty. The announcement comes on the heels of the company's 50th anniversary.
"Looking ahead, we realized that we were ready for a bold, strategic move of growth. The Sotheby's International Realty brand is as important as any element to Briggs Freeman. The melding of the two company's technologies will provide increased power and strength to attract buyers and investors from all over the world," said Briggs. The firm has enjoyed a rich legacy as the area's oldest boutique firm for premier properties.
The company's roots date back to the beginning of Ben R. Briggs Real Estate, established in 1960. Briggs Freeman's website in 2008 was ranked #3 in the nation and #1 in Texas by REAL Trends, Inc., and 1000WATT Consulting after the two firms studied the Websites of the top 500 brokerage firms in the country. That ranking is uncontested today. Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty has developed social media outlets as well as iPad and mobile platforms to help buyers.
